Biography:

Burcu Üzümcüler Özaydın completed her academic education in engineering, followed by a master’s degree in psychological counseling and guidance. She is a consultant and trainer with over 20 years of experience in equality, inclusion, and social sustainability. As the founder of Üzümcüler Global, she provides consultancy services by conducting needs assessments for a wide range of companies across various sectors, in addition to collaborating with the private sector, public institutions, local governments, and civil society. She has delivered services in more than 50 cities across all geographical regions of Turkey.

Burcu has worked with international companies as well as United Nations agencies (UNFPA, UNDP, ILO) and has offered expert consultancy services for EU-funded and public partnership programs. Her current projects in cooperation with ILLAC include consultancy services for the UN Women WEPs Excellence Center; GBVH risk analysis and capacity building at Enerjisa Production and Enerjisa Energy; leadership capacity strengthening for Rönesans Holding; and preparation of guidance materials for ACWA Power within the scope of their GBVH project.

In addition to her consultancy work, Burcu also provides psychological counseling services. She plays an active role in capacity building and fieldwork within civil society, and in partnerships between the private sector and civil society. She is fluent in Turkish and English and resides in Turkey.
