About

ILLAC undertakes cause-driven commercial and not-for-profit projects, offering advisory services to advance institutional frameworks and corporate practices, with a particular focus on Turkey and other transition and emerging economies.

Since 2005, ILLAC and its associates have served as consultants to international development banks, UN agencies, and select NGOs, including, but not limited to, the World Bank Group, IFC, EBRD, UN Women, UNFPA, UN SSE, EIRIS Foundation, and CDP. ILLAC’s advisory and research have influenced key market instruments and contributed to policy reforms on corporate governance, gender equality, and ESG disclosure frameworks. As a training partner of the IFC and EBRD in corporate sustainability and inclusive leadership, ILLAC has built a strong foundation for executive training. Its typical clients include private sector companies—both listed and privately owned—that seek debt or equity finance from responsible investors.

Illac joined United Nations Sustainable Stock Exchanges Initiative’s Advisory Group on Modern Forms of Slavery in 2025 and UN SSE Gender Equality Advisory Group in 2021.
